<integer> = PRINTER STATE()

PRINTER STATE returns a value of 1 if the printer is spooling a print job ( I.E. A print job is in progress ). Otherwise it returns 0. Some commands can’t be executed unless the printer is in a specific state. Other commands will change the state of the printer. For example using the LPRINT command will start a print job using the current printer. Below is a list of commands that can affect the state of the printer or require the printer to be in a certain state to be executed.
