Documentation And Key file error

 

PRINTED PIXELS IN LENGTH X should read PRINTER PIXELS IN LENGTH X

PRINTED PIXELS IN LENGTH Y should read PRINTER PIXELS IN LENGTH Y

 

Work around, replace the word PRINTED with  PRINTER in the above commands. The command won’t be highlighted in blue in the IDE, the program will compile okay. Key file will be fixed with next release.

 

 

Adobe Printers PDF and Flash Printers

 

Flash Paper 2 - Tested on windows XP 32 bit

 

The flash paper 2 printer causes dark ink to crash, when trying to instantiate an instance of the flash printer using the CreateDC function. Purple error dialog displays “Printer Select Is Invalid”

I have found a partial solution to this problem in that passing parameters to the above function will start flash paper 2, but I then found further problems with the flash paper printer. The flash paper printer does not seem to output images correctly with Dark Ink as well. This does not happen to my knowledge with other XPS printers.

 

Adobe PDF printer that comes with Acrobat Pro 8.1 and Vista 64

 

Unless this printer is set to be the default printer the adobe driver generates a dialog with the message

“The printer command in invalid”

 

Work around set the Adobe PDF printer to be the default printer on your system.

Support added for DarkGDK

The library now won’t crash with flash paper 2 - although images aren’t correctly scaled.
